Jack Windmill, Brighton
Jack Windmill is a Grade 2* listed local landmark, part of the Jack and Jill pair of windmills.
It is linked by underground tunnel to the historic Granary, whose original beams and elements are now enclosed within a glazed and timber space including a splendid triple-height music room with internal balconies.
The five-bedroom house is a RIBA-award winning new build completed in 2015 by Featherston Young: a reworking of the 1963 house on the site which has fully updated its mid-century glamour.
The buildings sit in an acre and a half of splendid gardens, including a beautiful flint walled garden.
There is plenty of parking onsite.
