Whinnie Williams is best known as Creative Director and co-founder of retro-inspired interior brand Poodle & Blonde. Having established a reputation for designing aspirational yet accessible prints including wallpaper, fabric and furnishings, each of Whinnie’s hand-drawn creations effortlessly combines her artistic talents and strong sense of styling to bring a sense of nostalgia, glamour, timeless design and originality alive - instantly transforming the spaces we live, work and play.
Whinnie’s unique and refreshing approach has been seen as a ‘gamechanger’ within the industry, quickly earning her nearly 40k IG followers to date, however it was her personal renovation projects that first caught the attention of press and clients from around the world, most noticeably the transformation of her Victorian home in Margate which has been featured within prestigious media titles including Elle Deco and The Telegraph.
One of her most recent projects includes ‘Club Jupiter’, a complete caravan make-over which features Poodle & Blonde prints as the backdrop to this surprisingly boutique bolt-hole, already loved by Conde Nast Traveller and Architectural Digest. Other interior design projects include hotels, restaurants and private members bars in addition to collaborations with MADE, Velux and Grey Goose.
Whinnie’s made her presenting debut on BBC Three’s renovation show ‘Flat Out Fabulous’ helping transform rental properties with her signature wow factor.
Whinnie has recently joined interior legend Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen as a guest designer on Channel 4 Changing Rooms. She has also just presented on the new BBC 3 series ‘Hire Me’, giving advice to new designers trying to break into the industry.
